It can't be a 2nd computer. It has to be a primary one. I'll start with my config.

Athlon XP 1600(1.333ghz)
Geforce 200MX
528meg PC 133SDRAM
Some generic 3D sound card that cost me $8

<<<---- is using the primary computer which is over 5 years old and with the specs of Pent III 700Mhz, 32MB Video card. Upgraded to 356MB of RAM <from 128>, 80GB of HD <from 30GB>.

I will buy a new computer within a year or two and this one will be the backup pc.

What speed are you running it at? IIRC those were overclocking bad boys.

504MHz (112x4.5) I can still remember the feeling of awe the first time I saw this thing boot up. The CPU was ~40-50% faster than the fastest stock PII speed and cost several hundred dollars less.

The golden days of OCing! :)

The 1600 is 1.4GHz so you got a bum processor.

I'm running:

AXP 1600+
Geforce2 GTS

I've got new parts on the way though so this things getting put out of commision. I think an A64 3200+ sounds pretty good.

I had two SL2W8 CPUs.....I can't believe I got rid of them. I'm on a Pentium 4-M 1.7Ghz, 384MB RAM, 40gig hdd...Dell Inspiron 4150. Back home(up until August) my primary computer was a AMD XP1800+, 512 SDRAM, 80gig hdd, ATI 9500pro.

I'm on my first build, from 2002. I have not reformated or reinstalled XP either.
It started out a 1600 pally, now it is a 2000.
Every piece of hardware in my heat evals has been tested in it, with few exceptions:p

I have better hardware sitting in my closet collecting dust...wait, that's what all computers do, especially working ones...er, not being used.
