The new version isn't so bad.

At least they go over older episodes with new updates and even solve some of them.

The ghost one with the queen mary and the haunted bunk bed (had a bunk bed) scared the crap out of me in 5th grade.

Always enjoyed the ghost segments.

The "America's Most Wanted" style segments about criminals... not so much.

Loved watching it as a kid, stopped watching after they went away from The Sci-fi to the non-fictional stories.

Nessie and UFO's vs. muder mystery and a missing dog

Nessie and UFO's will always win.

Big fan of the ghost segments on this how. And of course the theme and Robert Stack's voice were perfect. That said, the true crime pieces were kind of boring. I wish they'd just rerun these shows instead of putting on most of the reality TV they fill the airwaves with.

I loved that show, but I was always disappointed when the episode wasn't about aliens.

UPDATE!

I forgot Pierce Brosnan's wife was on the show as a cohost/sidekick and also didn't realize the show ran until 2002 in its first run.

I knew it was absurdly long and wanted to say something about it not being that long ago, but looking it up and posting on my phone just wasn't something I was willing to do. Thanks!
