Who here playes Project Entropia?

Have you made any money yet? I read something on Wired that said a guy payed ... $25,000 or $125,000 for a gigantic island. He plans on plotting the land off and selling it. He can also sell resources and other crap. He expects a rather large return on his investment?

Yeah 26 grand in USD, for Treasure Island. He's gonna plot off the beachfront property to sell, and he's going to tax the mining priveliges and hunting there so he'll make out on it, and with all the doors to open there, lord knows what kind of mining is available there, I'll bet theres just pure gold somewhere on that island to mine. He'll make a fortune

I havent made any money, put in around 50$ so far, going to start tailoring and whatnot, that'll be my profession for a while to pay for my ammo and whatnot.

It sounds like such an AWESOME game.. it blew my mind when I read about it. I really think this is going to be the future of MMORPG's.. maybe not the whole real cash society aspect, but just.. that level of real-ism.

I'd love to get into it, but I can't be blowing money on sh!t like that right now.
