I'd take a 350Z also though, and I like the blue color like Descartes' car.

A 350z is actually faster than a 300zxTT stock. It can also be upgraded though it won't be as cheap.

they are good cars althoughi would never get a 2003 build or whenever they came out. built quality always suck in first batches.

and the guy w/ g35 is correct. YOU HAVE to learn how to drive a RWD car such like g35 or 350z. i have heard many personal stories where g35 spins out of control EASILY! very easy under 40mph. i would say it goes same for 350z.. so be careful and goodluck in your new purchase!

btw i would choose g35 instead

This is untrue. Not only does the 300ZXTT have a lower ET, it also has a faster trap speed. The 350Z traps at around 100 mph, the 300ZXTT traps around 103 mph.

pros: lots of torque, pretty fast, a lot of potential to become even faster. Nice suspension work. Handles well. Cockpit gives you the crazy feeling.

cons: only looks good in black, "corssant" shape is =\ for me, only 2 seats.

if your into straight-away and freeway performance, get the z. if your into tight cornering....consider a honda s2000.

It's an incredible car, and the engine is amazing. What cars have you driven before? If you haven't driven a high-powered RWD car, you may want to take some time out to try and figure out how to control oversteer (or just always leave traction control on, but that's boring.)

Oh, it does drink gas pretty crazily, and you need to use premium. Best I've gotten out of a tank was 21MPG, and that's driving VERY conservatively. My average is about 18MPG.

Damnit I google imaged it again :| I knew "G35" sounded familiar!

and so everyone knows dont google "G35" in google's image search!!!!

I haven't had a problem driving my dad's G35c, but it doesn't snow here. I did make it fishtail once, but it's because the tires are worn down and we haven't gotten new ones for it yet. (doing that soon, gonna get 19"s for it too :D)

He did not like it because the 350Z because:

1. It is a Nissan.
2. The engine sound
3. The sound of the subwoofer.

He did not bother to adjust the sound system. And he did not bother to evaluate the 350Z's handling.

I own them every once in a while. For some reason the owners think it is a fast car.

You wouldn't own this one.

plus it was a pre-production model sold on some island in france. i'm sure after 2 years, it's been tweaked and the problems fixed

but i'd also look at the G35 instead. the Z's trunk is a joke with the stabilizer beam.

Yes, the Z's trunk is a joke, but so is the idea of using such a car for transport. If you're trying to transport building materials from Home Depot the Z probably isn't a good idea. Have you seen the back seats in the G?

There weren't many serious problems with the '03. The transmission was problematic on some of the first builds I believe, but other than that the problems were very small (e.g. camber problem). Although my example is by no means representative of the entire Z driving community, I haven't had any problems at all with my '03.

Woah, let's be serious here. It only spins out of control easily if you don't understand that accelerating as quickly as possible out of a corner might throw your backend out. Not one time has the car lost control independent of my efforts to make it do so; that's one of the great things about the car: I can toss it around at will and I never feel like I'm out of control. One of my favorite things to do is to take it to the track and toss it around for a few hours.

Of course, these cars don't instill confidence in snow/heavy rain, but that should be obvious enough.

That's why there's an option :). I'm probably sounding like a broken record at this point, but the Z to me was simply more pure in purpose, and something about that appeals to me. I still think BMW owns the luxury-sports car with their 330.

Is the 350 any bigger inside than the s2000? I tried to sit in one of those, and it sucked so bad I would not even attempt to drive it.
The Audi TT fit me like a glove though:)

Yes. I'm 6'2" and ~180lbs, and I fit very comfortably in my Z. I can hardly fit in a Miata, and I have just a slightly easier time fitting in an S2000.
