I live in Rosemead (626) actually. I hate it here. I used to go to UCLA and I loved the westside. Can't wait to live out there again.

Here's an Old Town Pasadena tip: you can park in the parking structures, I believe the first 2 hrs are free.

Not financially well off . . . it doesn't cost that much to move to Hawaii if you have work there . . . it's a great tax advantage and an awesome Winter!

And the low desert is too hot in the Summer . . . hence the move to San Diego.

Doesn't IB border Mexico (or is that just S. San Diego)? I used to watch hundreds of illegal immigrants pass from Mexico into the housing tracts every evening.

And the water usually at the beach is pretty polluted from the Tijuana river (although there are often awesome waves there).
