Tuna in vegetable oil is nasty.

Tuna in extra virgin olive oil, now THAT is delicious.

If I wanted oil, I'd add it myself.

If I'm cooking, I'd just use canola or olive oil, anyway.

Trust me, you don't need to make things that clear to moderators.

Unless you want to be clearly banned from the forums.
Keith's not usually this feisty, perhaps the Wi-fi cooked his brain :hmm:

Anyone else really like the Starkist flavored tuna pouches? I hate the price premium over canned tuna, but the taste and convenience make it worth it to me.

Tuna in oil clearly tastes better. Even when you just use it to make tuna salad.
Most Americans buy the water based because its far lower in calories.
Once again, America's taste buds get shorted.

btw I'm old enough to remember when all tuna was in oil. Except some brands in the "diet" aisle.

Why in the world would I want my tuna all slimy in oil??? Slimy fish is gross. You need to get chunk white tuna or albacore in spring water. I don't want any cut up fish heads in my tuna. Then you use Cains all natural mayo on Canadian white bread (it's thicker than wonder bread or any of that other doughy stuff). You put lettuce in-between the bread so that it does not get soggy. Toasting is optional. A light dash of salt and you are gtg.

This is not debatable. I am right. You are wrong. nah nee nah nee who ha!

Albacore tuna FAIL
Mayonnaise FAIL
White bread FAIL

Why should I take your recommendation on water with that poor track record?
