Soreness comes from the breakdown of your muscles. You gain more muscle by breaking them down and rebuilding them. You shouldn't be extremely sore, because it will mean that you pushed yourself too hard, and you could burt yourself. Also, you should mix 'hard' days with 'light' days.Originally posted by: MaxDSP
Doesnt soreness mean you worked out too hard? I loved the feeling but a trainer at the gym told me that I should not be extremely sore the next day if Im doing the exercises properly.
