Depends. Sometimes I like it because I know that I worked hard and pushed myself, and I'm getting faster. But then again, there's days when it hurts to go up stairs...

btw, Track and XC:)

I do too! Great feeling that I need to start getting more often. Endorphins along the way feel awesome too (re: 'runner's high').

I like the soreness, if I'm not sore after doing some exercise, I just feel like it was a complete waste of time :D

the best feeling in the world has got to be working out like a maniac....going home and taking a kong shower then having a home cooked meal with steak and potatoes and veggies, mmmmmm! oh man, there's nothing wrong with the world on a full stomach.

Doesnt soreness mean you worked out too hard? I loved the feeling but a trainer at the gym told me that I should not be extremely sore the next day if Im doing the exercises properly.

It's a great feeling... I like it even more the day after the day after, when I'm not sore anymore and I can work out again.

I hate it. I want to work out more but it reminds me that I'm a wuss.

That would be the day that i am sore... it takes two days for me to get DOMS... It usually does if you have been hitting heavy weights, low reps... REAL hard... :D

Soreness comes from the breakdown of your muscles. You gain more muscle by breaking them down and rebuilding them. You shouldn't be extremely sore, because it will mean that you pushed yourself too hard, and you could burt yourself. Also, you should mix 'hard' days with 'light' days.

I like it in a way.

I also like getting big huge bruises on my shins and legs when I play soccer. On the same line of reasoning I guess... feels like I was really part of the game and got in there.

Excercise has become my drug lately. It's great... I'm not usually sore the next day, but I think I push myself plenty. Perhaps I should go a bit harder :) After a hard workout, I hit the hot-tub for 5-10 minutes, then the dry-heat sauna, then the regular pool. Feels incredible.

Then I go home and consume about 50grams of time-release protein.

I only like it because I'm a masochist. I couldn't care less if I worked hard or not ;)

I'm one of those people that if they discover that you twist your in a funny way and it hurts, I keep doing it, or if I get a bruise, I keep pushing on it...
