I can't wait for St. patricks day and i wanted to see if there were any other irish people's out there and what you were up to
 
ugh, i think i'll stay home with a few bottles of Guinness. i was head of security last year for an irish pub....on my feet for 14 hours straight. glad i quit that job!

Yes I have a bit of the Irish in my bloodlines and I will be having Corned Beef and Cabage for dinner with more than a few pints of Beamish!!!!!!!!!!

1 free beer a day ,every day of the year
 
*raises hand* I will be going to my moms and helping her make a traditional Irish dinner, complete with potato soup. But no riverdancing for me, sorry. 😉

Btw, here in Boston the best kept secret is that it is the Italians who often have the very best St Pat's day celebrations
 
green beer is toxic. gross. gotta be Guinness...or at least Harp. the pub i worked in, if they asked for green beer, they were shown the door.

I never got around to starting to drink, so I'll make a mug of tea and listen to some old Clannad, Joemy Wilson, Old Blind Dogs, other good Celtic music.

Yep, I sure am! My dad was 100% irish, my great grandparents came over during the potato famine. And my maiden name was Colleen Ryan. I always loved when people would ask me if I was irish with that name! 😛
 
100% right here. If I have a final Monday, I'll be staying in Columbus, drinking some Jameson and Paddy's, which is not exported, you have got to go to Ireland to pick some up, along with Guinness (I had one earlier today, as a matter of a fact). If I dont have a final Monday, I'll go back to Clevelnad, drink more whiskey and Guinness, and march in the parade... its the WSIA Fife and Drum Corps for anyone in cleveland who wants to know.

Actually considering getting a pony keg of Guinness if I'm here in Columbus...

My mom came over when she was 16... nobody ever asked if I was Irish,they used to pinch my cheeks and say things like "you've got the map of Ireland all over you"

 
I dunno, you think the name, the red hair, and the greenish eyes would have given it away. Not to mention the pale skin and freckles! But nooo, I live around a bunch of geniuses. 😉

I'm not Irish, but I plan to drink like an Irishman on St. Paddy's day. That remind me of a joke. What's 5 miles long and has an IQ of 50? j/k 😛

EDIT: I love St. Patrick's day, but almost never get to celebrate it as St. Patricks day because it gets lost in the drinking spree of Spring Break. 🙂

Ha! My St. Patricks day is the day before finals start, and I plan to be drinking like a mofo.
