I'll give an example: ochadd has 32 drives and 9.848TB total storage.
That's 32 / 9.848 = 3.25.

Can anyone beat 3.25? (Minimum of 5 drives to enter -- don't tell me you have one computer with a 250GB drive so you have a 4.0 😉)

When I'm on the road, my laptop has a single 250GB drive. Up until recently, it had a 40GB drive on there. 1/0.04 = 25 FTW!

Now the truth...

2x 40GB - Laptop (swapped into laptop with various open source software)
250GB - Laptop (main WinXP install)
300GB - Main PC
320GB - Playstation 3
400GB - External 2.5in
2x 500GB - Main PC, HTPC
2x 750GB - HTPC
2x 1000GB - Main PC, External 3.5in

12/5.85 = 2.05

You did it wrong.
It's 5.85/12 => space per disk average: 487.5GB
