Here's one where the next door neighbor's little boy jumped into the photo. Enjoy!

Second from left has a vaj...

A stable home and family to raise your chillens? You actually love your wife and intend to stay with her forever? Next thing you'll tell me is that you take your family to church! D:

You monster! 🙂
this man has not seen the magic of statistics

What a somewhat fail thread because a small subset of anecdotal evidence tells of us little about the larger world trends.

As the highest birth rates in the world tends to be in third world farming nations and te lowest Birth rates tend to be found in prosperous first world nations.

You're the idiot for thinking that the OP was trying to determine the average number of children per nuclear family.

No, this is just me being curious after a phone chat with my older daughter who was complaining that all 3 of her children are sick at the same time. Ha, 3 that would've been a piece of cake - just try 4 sick at the same time like I used to have. Of course once one gets sick, the others fall like dead flies. And then mom and dad get sick too. Of course I offered to go take care of the little ones so that daughter could go to work. Guess what I'll be doing for the rest of the week.

I have at some time or other posted pics of both of my daughters - and of my 2y/o granddaughter.

I suppose we COULD have a thread to determine the Birth Rate here at ATOT. That might be frightening.

I'm fairly certain that I've had more kids than any other poster in OT. But, only 2 children. 🙂
Shens, I'm 41 and still spill my seed five and six times per week. 50 weeks per year (some weeks its difficult to be alone). I'm determined to make this thing longer even at the risk of accidentally pulling it off. 😱

I have 2....twins, boy and girl, 3 years old now. Some day they will bring balance to the force, by killing their father with their college tuition.

I could not imagine having 2 at the same time. My first one is going through now and it's definitely noticeable on the finances. The plan is to get #1 out of college about the time #2 turns 16 and wants a car. Get that out of the way by the time #2 goes to college. Get that out of the way and then it's smooth sailing! 🙂

Edit: Forgot about #1 and #2 wanting big weddings......damn! 🙁

4 children - Youngest is 30

17 Grandchildren - top that!
Ages from 22 -> 6 months

Only 3 of the children are producing.

Only 1 and I was 37 before he showed up. Wasn't married until 32.

For some reason (properly due to how the OP was written) I read that as your parents had 37 kids by the time you had your son. I figured that wasn't right and reread it.

Just two for us, 1 boy, 1 girl.

Could be. My Dad wasn't the most.....nvm.

Just two for me and my wife. We have disappointed them all their lives by being one of the few families that have not divorced, remarried, have step siblings, etc. They feel terribly hard done by to be from a non-broken home like all their friends.

This exactly (well, if you change wife to husband.)

This. Tell my 11 year old that he'd better make good grades because my retirement is funded before his college and I'm behind on my retirement.

yep, although I want my kids to get great education and have a great career, I never really believed in tution as being parents responsiblity.

Especially with the amount of kids I've seen waste this money and never put in any effort.

It's simple human nature. People simply cannot appreciate ANYTHING that's given to them.

Anyways, if my kids are good and do well in school (currently they are) I will do my best to help, but it's THEIR responsibility.

I didn't know my age would be so relevant today...as a fairly attractive 19 year old I had no idea so many members had 18-20 year old daughters

4 children from my first marriage, wife has 4 children from her first marriage.

If you count step children, that gives us a total of 8.

My wife and I have 13 grand children.

And I thought I had a lot with 13.

I'd hate to be in your shoes around the holidays. Then again, having that many people that love you (presumably) must be a great feeling.
