who here has no idea who they are going to vote for tomorrow?

i'm in VA too

i have NO idea

vote down party lines maybe? i HATE doing that, but sometimes i don't know anything else

i *did* see the "ban gay marriage" example ballot. how exciting. it is soooo confusing, i bet lots of people won't even figure out what "yes" or "no" means

(basically, it outlines an amendment and say vote "yes" to put it in place, but it is confusing as to whether the amendment adds or deletes gay marriage). there's gonna be a LOT of old people spending like 45 minutes at the polls

not i, i know who and what i am going to vote for in MI.... no more "Mole", yes to hunting, no to affirmative action.

WA here - the voter pamphlet and lots of associated websites are my reading tonight, so I'll know tomorrow. Wish there were better people to vote for. 🙁 Poor America.

No more Mole? Yes to hunting? You're going to vote for mole hunting?

Mole = Jennifer Granholm
Current MI Gov.
SHe has this awful mole on her face that i cannot stand.

I'm all set for my local reps and my congressman but I'm still in a toss up over the governnor. The Dem candidate has run nothing but negative attack ads but he has a point. The R candidate is lacking in experience with the issues that are on the table right now. Then again... The D candidate already had two terms and didn't do very well with them.

Sara Palin... Kinda hot for a potential governor... 😛

i will vote tomorrow morning on my way to work

4 main things I'll vote for:

Jim Talent, gotta keep the Dems out of the Senate
School Bond issue, need to add on to the High School
vote against 2 state amendments that would raise taxes for no good reason

I'm going to move within two months, and as a result I don't feel that I should vote for anyone in state government. I won't be directly affected by any of their policies, so I don't think I have any business in picking the people that will lead this state for the next 2 to 6 years. However, I will vote for a US House rep in my district... Granted they represent this state, but their decisions can/will affect me wherever I end up moving.

Another policy I have is to not vote for anyone relating to the school board. I figure since I don't have kids, selecting the leaders of the local schools really isn't my business. I suppose you can make the arguement that it does effect me, I view it as more the responsibility of the parents to decide who would be best.

As usual, there has been virtually ZERO information locally about several of the elections. The only information available is campaign posters for a couple of the seats. So, as I have in the past, I'll walk in and vote only for those offices that I'm confident I'm making the best informed decision for. I can only hope that the rest of the voters in my area can somehow make a more informed vote than I can. Then again, I'm a pretty reasonable person (usually) - several of the winners are going to be determined solely on how people like the spelling of their name, and where they appear (first or second) on the ballot. It's quite unfortunate. (then again, do I really care who the county coroner is? County treasurer? Thus, I don't feel too bad about not knowing the candidates or caring about those offices.

I know exactly who I'm not voting for. Anybody Republican or Democrat.

I'm also voting against the proposed smoking ban in my city. I don't feel they should take away the business owners' rights.

Why are you waiting for the info to come to you? You can't honestly want to see more commercials or fluff pieces on your local news right?

You should try finding out what will be on your ballot yourself and then research them yourself.
