who here has had experience with FEDEX Priority Overnight service?

so it's like this... i bought some coolio gadget thingie from someone over at FS/FT. he shipped it fedex priority overnight yesterday, so according to fedex's website, i'm supposed to have gotten my stuff by 10:30am today. but i haven't seen it, nor one of those notices left behind in case i missed them. how accurate is fedex's claim that priority overnight package be recieved bt 10:30am the next day? man, i called out sick today to play with it too! it better get here dammit!!! 😱
 
Just look up the tracking #.

Priority 1 overnight should be there by 10:30.
Regular overnight they have until 3 or so.

Why would he pay the extra $$ for priority 1?
 
If you look closely, you'll see this on their website:

Weekday delivery by 10:30 a.m. to most U.S. addresses (by noon or 4:30 p.m. to other areas).
 
damn, the fedex van just drove past my house and out the neighborhood! they're just teasing now... :|
 
I think Priority Overnight applies mostly to business addresses. I don't think they guarantee 10:30 AM to residental addresses. Also, they do have the caveat that Priority Overnight only goes to most addresses, not all of them. It is a sham, though. They should not charge for Priority Overnight if they cannot guarantee it.

i called them @ 6:00 and the lady acknowledged that it was supposed to be delivered this morning. she did not know what was going on, but she said she would call the local station and have them call me to fill me in on the situation. i also asked there when do they stop delivering, and she said 7pm. well... it's 6:58pm now... wonder if this foolio is gonna gimme my friggin' package or what?!?! :|

EDIT: fedex u suck. package is stuck in TN. might be delivered tomorrow according to the operator. overnight shipping seemed like a rip-off before, but now it's off the charts. :|:|:|:|:|:|:|:|:|
