Ok another question.

Now when I was in college I was working part time. After I graduated I had to move from college to Tulsa, which was about a 130 mile move. I understand that you can claim moving expenses. What I want to know is, can you claim if it was part time?

Did mine, getting 1k back from federal, 150 from state.

Putting it toward an engagement ring so I can add more deductions next tax time.

Did mine over the weekend. The IRS will be getting my $327 on April 15th and not a day sooner! 😛 I live in Florida so NO state taxes to file!

Did mine on the the 30th. got federal back on the 8th. paid all the credit cards off and now have some spending money for my trip to colorado on tuesday. I always pay more in during the year than I need to. Total from state and federal will be over 5k. I look at it like this, if I don't see it I won't spend it. No matter how much I try it turns out like that, thanks to these damn hot deal forums. I'd probably make less than 100 dollars in interest if I did the w4 so I would break even with the government, not that much to care about.

Did mine the 24th of January, I got the Federal return last week & should have the State this week.

Mine's going towards a car most likely, unless I decide to wait longer. In that case I can pay off some more CC debt.

Tried last week, but still indecisive about how I'm going to do them; whether it's myself or with an accountant. I'd do myself but I have to pay taxes in two countries and the issues are a bit of a pain. I could ask HR block and I did but they didn't know their head from their ass on anything like this.

why 2 countries? how does that work?

Wife did 'em last week. She won't go with my plan. I figure I wasn't born in this country, I shouldn't have to pay stinkin taxes. Oh wel.
😀

OK, then any income you made in this country you can just give it back, .·. no income = no taxes and your problem is solved.

<< I did not feel like letting Uncle Sam keep any of my interest this year, so I'll be paying $67 >>

Thanks very much: Ditto that here. Except I owe $354. 🙁

Quick Question: I've been trying to file a NY State tax return via Turbotax, but they keep telling me there's an error in that I need to fill out the IncAdjPY/NR: Stmt. But I have no idea what this is. Can anyone help me out with this?

Got my $700 back from Michigan already, waiting for my $6.5k from the feds.

Sorry for letting them borrow my money, but I like it that way. I'm just a glutton for punishment.
