Who here drives the oldest car?

I have a 92 4 cyl Mustang for the winter, and an 88 Trans Am GTA for all other times.

The sad thing is, I picked the entire Mustang up in running condition 3 years ago for $200... and it's the lowest mileage, most fuel efficient, most reliable, and newest car I've ever owned 🙁. I bought it planning on keeping it for one winter, but kept it cause it runs so well. It's now going on its 3rd winter since I got it, and has never once quit on me.

The oldest car I've ever owned was a Canary Yellow 77 Coupe DeVille with an 8 track 😀. Big pimpin.

Used to drive a 79 Cutlass Supreme back in the day. Bought it for $400, didn't know how many miles were on it b/c every 10,000 miles it would actually roll back on the ode, so when I'd hit 120k it probably really had 130K on it. Lasted 40K more miles through the rough hills of WV, friends nicknamed it "Animal Thug". lol

97 911 Turbo. Thing is pretty old now and I'm just using it as a beater until I fry the engine, then I can buy a new one. I am so awesome.

a 1967 Camaro RS,with a 427 big block,4 speed tranny,came with factory disc brakes (front)
a heater,and No radio.

pics of my Camaro.
Beautiful car. I'd love to have a 68 or 69.
.....must.... resist..... can't....... ahhh....

Screw it...
I'd also love a 69.

I hate myself.

My daily driver is a '91 Dakota. I'm gonna drive this thing 'till it dies.

I think of this thing as Urban Camouflage.

Besides this thing has the best stereo of any of my vehicles. 2 sets of MB Quart component speakers, in the door and in custom kick panels. 300 watts of love.

I already have one BMW 2002 from '71. This weekend I'm picking up another, same year.
Two 1971's here! 😀 I love their handling, so good! For 30 some odd years old, they handle extreemly well.

1969 sems to be the more popular year,

the hoods and trunk lids will interchange between all three years,
the 1969 Camaro has different wheel openings in the rear, and the bumpers, grills, and tail lights are
a bit different;as are the instrument panles, where the speedo etc. go.

The 67-69 Camaro is one of the easier cars to work on,and find parts to restore/rebuild,as most of the parts are being made again.

If you were to compare a early Camaro,to a same era Ford, and both had a Big Block in them
you would find that the Camaro would be a Lot easier to work on,as the engine bay was made with a lot of room from the factory.
The Fords of that era had a "shock tower" setup that crowds the engine compartment, very much.

{my 67 has a big block engine,😉}
