Heh, not mine, but my roomate's..

-1978 GMC 3/4 Ton Pickup
-185,000 miles
-2 wheel drive (which really, really sucks in Colorado winters)
-It was once white, but now is "rust"
-It takes two people to start every morning. Something is wrong with the carb. He has to spray starter fluid into the carb (after removing the air filter), while I turn the key and pump the gas peddle.
-It won't idle. So at every stoplight he has to shift into neutral and rev the piss outta the truck just to keep it running.
-He has been getting 6 miles to the gallon recently. Earlier this week we discovered the gasket between the carb and the top of the engine no longer exists...half the gas was leaking out of the engine..which is why he was getting 6 miles to the gallon. It still takes two people to start every morning..
-The auto tranny is going, and sometimes it won't shift into 2nd, so he has to manually shift it from first to third on occasion.
-Windshield is cracked
-There is some kind of red fringe/beads that hang down from the ceiling of the cab
-No air conditioning
-Gas gauge doesn't work. Neither does the tripometer.
-Driver side window will only roll half way down
-It has this god awful "utility bed" on the back
-No cassette or CD player, radio only
-Someone in our apartment complex keeps throwing beer bottles in the bed
-Its really, really loud due to all the rusted out holes in the exhaust system

On a positive note, nobody ever tailgates him or cuts him off....

5 speed Manual, rear wheel drive, 165,000 miles.

Very little/ lack off shocks and struts ( Bounces alot on the road)
Windshield Wipers dont work
Cassette player does not work, only picks up AM frequency. Only one rear speaker works
Inspection sticker expired in 2002, have not gotten one because it wont pass an inspection
Cracked windshield
Passenger window handle fell off
Starter takes a couple tries to get working
Air Compressor is dead, and the heater core had to be bypassed ( so no heater or AC)
No back seats. Just a blanket, lounge chair, alarm clock, pillow and lots of tools.
Half of the back bumper is missing.
Tailpipe is about to fall off.

Before I got rid of my Celica, I would have beaten you.

Celica:
225,000 miles

rust, rust, rust

leaking sunroof...when it rained, water would gather under the sunroof and pour out on you when you took a corner

engine that would sputter and die in the wet...it took a LOT of work to keep it going. It was an absolute nightmare to get going on an uphill in the rain. Procedure: Light turns green. While holding the brake with the side of your foot, SLOWLY rev the engine to 3-4k. Rev it too fast, it dies. Let out the clutch enough to get the car rolling forwards, push it back in FAST before the engine dies, rev the engine again to 3k, let the clutch out, repeat a third time if needed. If at any point the car starts to bog down, clutch in, rev it up, downshift, keep going.

CV joints went out about 50,000 miles ago

tires...SUCKED. Almost like ice in the rain

exhaust that kept cracking (the manifold itself cracked twice...LOUD)

windshield wipers...sometimes worked, sometimes no. Even when they worked it was hard to see through the windshield, they needed replacing.

HUGE crack/dent right in the center of the front bumper from the previous owner rear-ending a truck at a good clip. Busted-out turn signal, dents in hood, dents/misalignment in passenger's side quarter panel too. The hood had to be literally kicked shut every single time.

enormous windshield crack

zero power steering due to a leak in the line. REALLY tough to parallel park...

trunk got broken into, so the lock was messed up. Also, the rust allows stuff in the trunk to get wet

e-brake was gone

And I'm sure there's more I'm forgetting. Yet, somehow, I still found it in me to drive it to work every day....*shudder*

I have a '92 Civic...atleast 220k miles on it (reads 205k, the od. stopped working)...lets see, whats wrong with it...speedo doesnt work, driver's side window wont roll up completely, trunk release broken, cd player super glued together after someone tried to steal it twice, hood takes 5 or 6 hard slams to shut, clutch slips constantly, up until a week ago I had no exhaust pipe running off the cat, dash lights dont work sometimes, no AC, and countless other little things. I hate my car...but I love that it still gets 42mpg

Holy crap on the stick, is THAT what mine originally looked like?

http://www.sphexi.com/pics/truck.jpg

1986 Toyota 1/2 Ton Longbed, but without the bed or cap. The frame has been expanded by a foot via welding more framework on at the rear end, and the bed is all pressure-treated 2x4s bolted down. Jacked up the rear a bit for better clearance over the tires. 185K original miles on it, same engine and all that. Different color hood/front end because it was, well, replaced. No AC. No Power steering. 5-speed standard. The driver's side window doesn't work right. The passenger side door can't lock or unlock from the outside. The muffler works great, but the exhaust manifold leading up to it is shot to hell, and leaks fumes into the cab whenever I drive it, threatening to send me off to some sort of magical fairy land of unconciousness. Oh, and it's rear wheel drive, which works AWESOME in the friggen 5 feet of snow we get every winter!

Well, I have one of these but mine doesn't look much like the one in the picture however.

The engine does though!

3K+ into that.

Now I just need to make the rest of it LOOK as good as the engine RUNS! :)

Squareback? When'd you get one of those? I almost had one a few years ago, but I couldn't get it running (didn't know as much about them back then) so the woman wouldn't let me buy it. What size engine?

Case opened up for thick walled 1776 barrels pistons balanced
wind age tray
counterweighted crank balanced to 17Lb flywheel
rods balanced end to end and over all
Heads ported and polished and de shrouded with stainless steel valves and solid shimmed rocker arms with swivel feet valve adjusters
Engel 110 cam
Dual Baby Dellorotos (re jetted) and ported intakes and finned alum. air filters
Headers (ported)
full flow high volume high pressure oil pump with remote oil filter and oil cooler with temp controlled gate
finned alum. Deep sump oil pan
finned alum. valve covers with breather kit
Bosch 009 distributor with electronic ignition
stainless steel oil and fuel lines through out
Kennedy stage 2 pressure plate and Scat clutch disk

Since this was the third engine I had built for this thing, and I was working as a VW mechanic, when I built it, I spared no expense this time. :)

Though not the winner I will take the booby prize :p
1986 Chrysler LeBaron sedan
Windshield is is shattered in the lower driverside corner and has cracks going up and out.
Probably needs a new EGR valve, stutters alot when cold.
Leaks LOTS of power steering fluid.
Leaks a bit of Transmission fluid from the axel seals.
Rear end sags even after I replaced the springs.
Driverside rear wheelbearing is going out.
Passenger side door opens when it feels like it, usualy not when a passenger is there.
Passenger side door is starting to rust along the bottom edge.
Rear windows are stuck up.
Cruise Controll no longer works.

Dang thats a long list, It gets me from point A-B and the A/C still works.
So its good enough for now... I guess...

We don't have a "green with envy" emoticon :p
If the Chilton's guide I have is right about my engine code, mine was only 40hp stock... from a 1973 1600cc :(

Just an update, I am now getting between 12-14 mpg :( I think my engine is dying on me, I have been hearing a faint knocking for the past couple months in the lower gears. I will drive it till it dies though!
