I choose to drink an alcholic beverage about twice a year. Occassionally I'm forced to drink more often (such as when in a foreign country and there are no other reasonable options available), but I generally don't like to do that. My reasons:
1) Beer makes me throw up. Something about the combination of alcohol and bubbles doesn't sit well. I love the taste of beer in things like beer bread, but I don't like the taste of beer out of a can with all the acidic carbonation.
2) I cannot find a wine that I like. I love fruity tastes, so red wines should be good, but everyone I find is so dry. Dry wine is horrible. If anyone knows of a great red wine that is as far from dry as possible, I'd like to know.
3) Expense. As a poor college student, I'd much rather pay $.89 for a unlimited refill pop than $5 for a small drink that'll be gone before I'm half finished with my meal.
