Doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that the people most affected by his policy change are the ones most likely to hate the man.

To me, it sounds like they are educated.

Not surprising. Uneducated people are the most susceptible to propaganda and the Republicans have built an unprecedented propaganda machine.

Uneducated workers have been hurt worst by outsourcing of unskilled jobs yet they cannot make the connection to how that has hurt them. They buy the story that oursourcing is good, yet since they have no jobs they have accepted the myth that it must be government regulation keeping them from working.

Plus, they have been hurt by their loss of status. Fathers used to get their sons jobs in the places they worked. Many companies were a family business which kept those companies almost exclusively white. Democrats opened up the factories to all people and the white uneducated male no longer has the "in" on jobs.

Average age of Rush Limbaugh listener is 67, so I am guessing that there are some seniors who yearn for segregation of the 50s and are rabidly anti-Obama.

I would further clarify OP's comment to working class white males who only have a high school education (that segment of populace has a very high unemployment rate right now).

You've got to be kidding.

If it was not for the uneducated and the racists, this fool would never have been elected in the first place.

very much agreed.

I guess to OP's point, if you ask who hates Romney most or who hates Bush most, you will get the exact same answer but from the other end of the spectrum, surprise surprise OP. stop getting attracted to liberal baits. They are destroying and dividing the country, dont fall for it.

"If it was not for the uneducated and the racists, this fool would never have been elected in the first place."
Obama lost about 3% of popular vote in 2008 because of race (if he wasn't black, he should have womped Palin McLame 08 even worse, say 55% of popular vote):

"The state with the highest racially charged search rate in the country was West Virginia. Other areas with high percentages included western Pennsylvania, eastern Ohio, upstate New York and southern Mississippi.

Once I figured out which parts of the country had the highest racially charged search rates, I could test whether Mr. Obama underperformed in these areas. I predicted how many votes Mr. Obama should have received based on how many votes John Kerry received in 2004 plus the average gain achieved by other 2008 Democratic Congressional candidates. The results were striking: The higher the racially charged search rate in an area, the worse Mr. Obama did.

Consider two media markets, Denver and Wheeling (which is a market evenly split between Ohio and West Virginia). Mr. Kerry received roughly 50 percent of the votes in both markets. Based on the large gains for Democrats in 2008, Mr. Obama should have received about 57 percent of votes in both Denver and Wheeling. Denver and Wheeling, though, exhibit different racial attitudes. Denver had the fourth lowest racially charged search rate in the country. Mr. Obama won 57 percent of the vote there, just as predicted. Wheeling had the seventh highest racially charged search rate in the country. Mr. Obama won less than 48 percent of the Wheeling vote.

Add up the totals throughout the country, and racial animus cost Mr. Obama three to five percentage points of the popular vote. In other words, racial prejudice gave John McCain the equivalent of a home-state advantage nationally."

So the dumber and more racist you are, the more you hate the educated black man in office. Who'd have thunk?

There's the racism.

What black man in office?

There is no black man in the office of the President.

Hell, he can't even make the definition of mulatto.

Don't know.

Here is the Poblano / Nate Silver (Baseball Prospectus statistician who is now affiliated with New York Times, but was essentially unknown non-establishment blogger before 2008 election) projections for electoral college in 2008 based upon different turnout scenarios: http://www.burntorangereport.com/diary/5780/

From what I've read, it sounds like there is just a sliver of voter (3 million total in all of the swing states) that will serve as tie breakers in electoral college in 2012 (haven't seen much on what projections for turnout of various segments of populace will be, though kind of seems like Latinos will be very important in states like Colorado and Florida).

Not sure, but it sounds like Obama and Romney are vying for the vote of swing voter who voted for Obama in 2008, thought they were getting FDR, and now realize they got H. W. Bush.

If you watch some of the ads that seem to be going up on swing states, that is whom they seem to be targeted at (Romney's Obama promised the moon and didn't deliver, and Obama's give me more time to show how the heavy lifting I've done will manifest in nice sustained recovery which you might not feel yet or before election).

Bottom line is uneducated males have been uniquely hardest hit in America over the last 30 years. Many, many jobs no longer require the usually greater strength of males. Plus, todays jobs require the best social skills which is something that women have been taught is what they should have and learn. Offices require greater impulse control which women have been also taught is a virtue. While men are taugh to be independent and to handle things on their own.

Add to that men are taught they must get a job and support their family while at the same time their wives have skills more in demand and get more and better jobs than they do.

Weeel, I am a college educated white male and I too am not very happy with Obama either.

Then I look at all my lovely alternatives in Mitt Romney and the Fibertarians and suddenly Obama looks somewhat better.

But why why why, do I always have to vote for the lesser of all turds, why can't I get someone worth voting for?

You mean the uneducated white males who were unlucky enough to be born without a vagina, which would otherwise entitle them to all kinds of handouts from Obama? Or the uneducated white males who didn't take on $100K in loans to chase college pussy for 4 years and then move back with their parents after acquiring a worthless liberal arts degree? Or maybe you meant the uneducated white males who lucked out of being born black, and therefore aren't eligible for the affirmative action benefits? Cuz there couldn't possibly be any reason a socially-enlightenend uber-progressive culturally-sensitive gender-neutral better-than-everyone hipster would vote against Obama.

True haters are certain seniors (say born in the 1930s or 1940s) who have fond memories of segregation in the 1950s, and who live in very, very rural areas where only thing on radio is Rush.

Uneducated was perhaps a poor choice of words by OP, lacking a college degree might have been fairer and more accurate description (i. e. just never had opportunity to go to college for whatever reason):
Quick quiz: Which of the following groups of Americans have the lowest support for President Barack Obama?

A) Catholics
B) White men without college degrees
C) Tech CEOS
D) Seniors

And the answer is...

B: White men without college degrees.

Who hates Obama the most?
http://www.businessinsider.com/guess-which-group-of-americans-hate-obama-the-most-2012-7

Uneducated white males. Surprise, Surprise.

The article's title is needlessly provocative. From my reading the poll doesn't say "hate", it merely says support for Obama has dropped to 29%. That's crappy journalism (if it's journalism at all) to report this as "hate".

It's a strange set of groups to compare:

A) Catholics

B) White men without college degrees

C) Tech CEOS

D) Seniors

Looks like the thing is rigged to make "white" guys w/o college degrees stand out.

How about just guys w/o degrees? Well, I suppose that would blow the whole racist angle the author is going for.

Men have been hit disproportionately hard in this economic downturn, much more so than women. I would expect (don't have time to confirm with google now) that those w/o college degrees were hit harder than those with. So, this result appears perfectly understandable. No need for this gratuitous race-baiting douche-baggery.
