I dunno about "strangest", but perhaps unusual for ATOT.
I spent about 30 years as a heavy equipment operator, most of that as a crane operator, and many of those working maritime construction, operating a crane on a barge on the water somewhere.
In my many years, I helped build nuclear plants in Hanford, natural gas plants in Wyoming, gold mines in Nevada, oil shale plants in Colorado, refineries, bridges, food processing plants, power plants, and much more in Kahleeforneeya.
Biggest crane I ever operated for any length of time was a 900 ton Manitowoc with about 350 feet of boom. Smallest was a little 7.5 ton carrydeck inside a building.
I've also operated bulldozers up to and including D-11, scrapers up to 751, loaders up to 992, and a wide variety of excavators.
Nowadays, I'm just a lowly bookkeeper in a small CPA firm...<sigh>
