I've got 3 computers running F@H; two are my own, and one is a work system. Not much compared to others here, but I don't have the space or the money. :(

Home -- 4 to 5 (depending on laptop) on SETI 24/7/365
Work -- ~57 on SETI mostly 24/7/365 (depending on power outages and paranoid users)
Work -- ~8 on DF at a remote site mostly 24/7/365

now running
home:
1 1700+ OC'd to 1753Mhz(just can't push this palamino over the 1.8Ghz mark)
1 2200+M runs about the speed of a desktop 1900+
1 P3-933(waiting on rma hard drive dead atm)
wifes work:
1 2500+ (in a very small case, so I fear OC'ing it)
grandparents:
1 2100+ (they smoke, so I don't OC for temp reasons, I have to clean the pc about once every 6mo, to let the hsf breath again.) This one gets turned off when they leave the house(they are afraid the pc will catch on fire and burn down the house)

All running SETI pretty much 24/7. getting about 25-27 WU's per day without the 933.

Are these all at your place of residence? Or asking the same question differently, are you footing the electric bill for all of these? That is a lot of cpu power, and electric wattage, for a "home" fleet. I'm impressed!

My home fleet is much more modest:

P3 450@558
P3 800@904
TBred 2100+ o/c to 2600+ specs
Dual 333@540 Celeron
Dual P3 866@911

Yep...they are in my house. 9 in the garage, 3 in the family room, 2 in the spare bedroom, 1 in the kids room and 1 in my bedroom. :)

(Not counting laptop (not using right now! :Q) and the Pentium 200 Touchscreen PC!) ;)

Same here - all of mine are at my house.. owned by me, and I pay the electric bill. :)

I do have my P4 2.66 at work that does SETI, but that technically belongs to the company so isn't really mine and thus not included in my above numbers. ;)

How much does running 15+ computers cost in electricity? Is 100 watts/hr a conservative estimate? If so, then that is 1.5 kwh. At, say, 8 cents/kwh, that's ~$86.00 a month. This doesn't include power consumed by monitors. I'd guess that in home fleets that large, a lot of those cpu's are headless. My linux box is headless, and my two dualies, which run win2k server, share a monitor with a kvm.

Still, I bet you and 'gneer are spending $100 or so a month on powering those fleets. That's what I call dedication to the cause!
