Who has the best video card warranty?

I'll be picking up a 8800GTX this week and I need to know which brand has the best warranty. I've been buying BFG and will probably stick with them unless someone can give me a good reason not to.

EVGA and BFG both have the lifetime warranty, however XFX offers a double lifetime warranty, making it better for those interested in reselling since that can entice potential buyers.

So, just from a warranty point of view, XFX has you covered and whoever else has the card after you do. EVGA and BFG only supply their great services to you and only you.

BFG dropped, since they don't warranty your overclocking or aftermarket heatsinks.

The information on that page is misleading. Lifetime warranty applies to 600GT and above. Warranty for "standard" cards is 2-years.

For our retail Graphics Card and Mainboard products purchased on or after June 22, 2005, EVGA will provide a lifetime warranty to the original purchaser of each retail product that the product will not suffer, in material or workmanship, from any defect that adversely affects the performance of the product. I find BFG's 24/7 tech support a marketting gimmick. Why? I have called them 6 times, each time being on hold for almost an hour without getting a response. Emails have gone unanswered for over 3 days.

It doesn't matter if their warranty is infinite lifetime when you can't even get a hold of them!

i've heard that actually getting your XFX rma taken care of is a lot worse experience than evga or bfg.

I wasn't aware that XFX allows users to replace factory HS's without voiding the warranty... though that was only EVGA.

And I confirm what you are saying. Not all of their cards have a lifetime warranty.

the cheaper 7600gt cards dont have lifetime anymore. i know the one that only has 1 dvi port, and the 7600gs cards are only a 2 year warranty or something like that.

plus you cant transfer it. for their higher end cards evga warranties are probably the best, since they ahv egood customer service.

then again a 7600gs or something will be worthless in 2 years so i dont tend to worry about that at all.
