Who has the best tech support?

You should base your vote on your overall experience with a manufacturer, not necessarily RMAs. Overall, was it easy to get their board up and running, or was it a hassle?

Some things to consider:

When you needed tech info, or needed BIOS updates, did you have to look around in obscure overclocking forums or did their tech support staff or website provide what you needed?

How easy was it to get the answers you needed?

Do they fix overclocking-related problems?

Were their CS people fluent in English, or did you have trouble understanding them?

Are they quick to respond, or did you have to wait a week for an answer?

Do they provide frequent BIOS updates?

Do their BIOS updates actually fix anything?

Do they update their RAM compatibility lists often?

If they have a forum, do they censor damaging info, or are they quick to admit when bugs or hardware problems exist?

it's all variable depending upon which exact mobo, what your problem is & where you are.
You will find both horror stories & tales of great support for all of them.

I've had problems with every manufacturer on the list.
It just depends on what type of support you need at the time.

I find MSI to be a good supporter of their products. Never let me down once.

ECS on the other hand must be the worst company with Support. I always advise people to stay away from them because of this fact.

ECS = THE WORST RMA PROBLEMS IN HISTORY.

Ok, I updated the first post to make things a little clearer. I didn't mean RMAs specifically, but the overall experience.

QFT.

Personally, I have experienced excellent support from MSI in regard to Bios updates (I am using a custom bios they made for my board per the request of a few members of another forum and myself) and correspondence between myself and MSI (usually answer queries I have within 24hours). Never had a problem with any of their boards, top quality. So I will be buying MSI products in future. I also have experience with Asus, DFI, Abit and Aopen for motherboards with varying degrees of failure and success.
