Hooters has to have the worst buffalo wings ever. My vote is for Buffalo Wild Wings, formerly BW3's. At least 12 different sauces to choose from, I love the medium and spicy garlic. The Blazin' will burn your lips, mouth, and esophagus right off your body. I prefer 50 cent legs Wednesdays myself. More meat and then drench it in a bottle of your favorite BW3 sauce, mmmmmmmmmm.

Word - Hooters wings suck ass. They're Chicken McNuggets with hot pepper put on them - nothing like the original buffalo wings! I LOVE BW3 (Buffalo Wild Wings' old name) wings.

I live in Buffalo.
The choices are extensive.

There are different places to go for the different types of wing. Flavor, cooking style, etc.

Buffalo Wild Wings in Rochester are some of the best I've ever tasted. I never actually had buffalo wings in buffalo though 😛

Really? I thought they were okay but there's much better in Rochester. I've always been partial to the wings at The Distillery. 🙂

Yup, the distillery has good wings.

Wow, that's a lot of negative reactions on Hooters.

I don't understand the "chicken mcNuggets" comment though. The hooters in LA use pretty high quality chicken -- a few orders of magnitude above any fast food joint -- plus they're crispy and not greasy.

Then again, I had some in the Hooters at Denver which were marginally worse. I'm guessing the farther East you go the suckier Hooters gets.

i dont think thats true, b/c the hooters in indy and in chicago are pretty good, and hooters was founded in florida which is on the east coast.

Then I don't understand the animosity towards Hooters wings. They are far, far from terrible.

Best all time: Anchor Bar in Buffalo, NY of course (the birth place of the Buffalo Wing)

My hometown favorite: Restaurant/Bar called Bernie Murrays in Elmira, NY

I regularly eat wings in Buffalo... I believe the Anchor bar has been voted 2nd or 3rd. Tough choice around here to choose the best wings, because everyone sells them. In fact, the demand on wings is so high, that uncooked chicken wings are often more expensive per pound at the grocery store than boneless skinless chicken breast! I'll vote for La Nova wings in Buffalo though.

it would help if la nova wasn't in such a sh1tty location. :disgust:

The Hooters in Altoona, Pennsylvania, is not that good. It just opened here in the past 6 months, and I was NOT impressed whatsoever. Pittsburgh's Hooters was slightly better, though still nothing to rave about. Food-wise ,of course. The girls in Pittsburgh were much hotter, as to be expected, when compared to dinky Altoona's girls.

I think the farther east theory holds true.

Yea it did.
LaNova's has a loction on Main st. right off the 290 now. A lot cleaner than the one on ferry.

Personally, I love The buffalo brew pubs wings, a small bar called Milligan's on abbot and southwestern, Buffalo wild wings.
I can't wait for the 97rock chickenwing fest.
