Not much. I'd rather get school work done. And if its all done, I'd rather watch Star Trek reruns.

It amazes me in this age of ignorance and apathy how a single event can be so incredibly popular. I really wish Americans paid as much attention to their president or their congress.
or their state government.
or their local government.

I enjoy the Super Bowl for the party and spending time with friends and family. I'm all alone this year and about to head over to the laundromat.

I should be made an honorary ATOT (no)Lifer.

Football is awesome. Besides possibly basketball, all other sports are irrelevant.

Also, be careful. Don't use up your yearly allotment of exclamation points too quickly.

It's more a "I'm not a filthy brute that still feels excited watching emulated tribalism" thread.

"Why don't you like sports?"
"It's not that I don't like sports, in fact I like playing some of them. It's just that I don't enjoy watching them."
"Why? They're so exciting!"
"Would you like to watch me play a video game?"
"No."
"Why?"
"That's boring."
"Now you know how I feel about watching someone I don't know play a game on a field. Intersperse that with hundreds of advertisements, comments about how much money these guys are being paid because they were lucky enough to be born with the physical qualities that make them good at this game, and therefore how much more important they are than say, a group of scientists who's names you will never know that working on a cure for Parkinson's or leukemia."

I'm not as pumped about this one since the Patriots have been so many times and the Seahawks already won last year. I would really like a different AFC team besides the same 4 ones make it to the superbowl, someone like the Texans or Jags.

Not watching. Working in the garage, grading papers, sitting in the hot tub. And running to the store to get 15 or 20 gallons of gas, just in case. (Snow storm moving in, and my tractor is low on gas.)

The NFL was a bore to me as a child, so I never had an interest in it.

However, my Bro lives near Seattle and thus chearing for the Seahawks. So I hope they take it again.
