To me the word "passionate" is really vague from this article. If by passionate you mean "devotion and mindless, unwavering support for everything your team does," sure, I guess Green Bay has more passionate fans. I'm not impressed though - what the hell else is there to do in Green Bay? They have no other major sports franchises, and Philly has a 4, and the Eagles fans are still up there with the best of them.
Besides, I'd rather have a stadium that teams and their fans FEAR coming to... screw passionate. And don't bring up Jokeland. They are a bunch of sissies.

Yea right. When they started sucking this year, their games started to get blackedout on television because the fans stopped buying tickets. That is not passionate.

In my experience, the people who are most passionate about teams around here (NY/Philly market) AREN'T the ones who go to the games, they can't afford the tickets anymore. The Yankees are a great example of that. Some of the die-hard fans still go to the games even if they can't afford to, but most of the people you see at games aren't that into the teams.

As misguided as you may think it is, Green Bay is in a commanding lead in this poll. The only people that have really challenged the fact, is the philly fans themselves.

No way. Eagles fans by far (I'm neither btw). They throw stuff at players, beat the crap out of each other... there was a courtroom in vet stadium for god sakes! No comparison IMO, Eagles fans are the worst.

I wish you luck on Sunday, BTW. You and I went head to head a few times last year about the Bucs and Eagles. I am not a fan of either (Lions/Falcons fan).
I think this year is Philly's year to get to the Super Bowl. I think Green Bay will give the Eagles a close game on Sunday, but I think the Eagles will win it. I also think they will FINALLY win a conference championship.

Good luck to Philly. My dad really wants a Chiefs-Eagles SB, as he grew up in Philly, but now we live in Kansas.
