Who has LCDs larger than 21 inch?

lcd tv are usually low res 1280x768 , not the ultra high 1920x1600 or better.. apple is actually dual dvi , each head controls half the screen

That 30" Apple is massive. Saw some pics on hardforums....you're not the same guy are you? It seems like for the price, it would be better to have 4 20" lcds on a dual pci-e system. It is cool though 🙂

no, not really. ever try watching video or playing a game over 2 screens😉 2 is not better then one.. when its one BIG one🙂

Are you sure it requires both DVI connectors? I thought the product description says you can run a PAIR of 30s off a 6800 Ultra.

I'm typing this on my dad's previous generation 23" and can only imagine the intoxicating experience of a 30. Sigh.

Sony has up to 23" as well, I heard they use the same LCDs as Apple, and that is a good thing.

I've seen the 30" Apple display at two different CompUSA stores in the last week. It's worth the trip just to see it, believe me. You'll want one.

NO, it is Dual Link DVI, which gives twice the bandwidth of standard DVI through one connector, which is a totally different beast than dual DVI ports.

From the horse's mouth
