Who has hit 3.0GHz with their X2 3800+ ???

wut stuff u did to hit them and ur cooling

I think most of the 3Ghz 3800+ OCs are probably luck. I doubt most Manchester cores are able to OC 1Ghz on each core even with extreme cooling measures.

go over to xtremesystems.

many are hitting 3 ghz on air. the 0601 variations are at least.

i know the 0608 are good for opterons

but the 0601 LDBHE seem to hit 3 ghz consistenly

Well, it could be that only the people who do overclock actually posted the results. What about the people who have Manchester cores in HP and Compaq computers? I bet there are more of those out there than there are of the 3800+ OCing crowd.

I suspect they are using watercooling to get that high of a OC. Myself, I'm more interested in a stable 24/7/365 OC as opposed to how high one can get for a little while. But thats just me.

yeah they are on water, but i'm looking to hit it stable for just one test drive so i can hit a CPU score of 2000 on the 3dmark06 test, lol :p
