Who has ever seen a person with purple eyes?

This thread made me think of a recent discussion I had with my GF - she has green eyes, and tells me that while violet-colored eyes are extremely rare, it can occur naturally.

I do not doubt her, but I've never seen a person like that, and I can't help but wonder what it'd be like - anyone have a (non-photochopped) picture of a person with naturally purple eyes?

I don't have one. Look up Elizabeth Taylor. She has naturally violet eyes.

Her eyes look blue in every picture I can find on an image search for her.

yes.. my great grandmother had violet eyes and my 6 wk old daughter's eyes are so dark blue, we think they may turn violet.

And no, I have never seen anyone with naturally occuring violet eyes, but that would be sweet.

the weirdest thing i have seen is a girl with one green eye and one blue eye...at first i thought they were contacts..but they were natural..

very freaky yet kinda sexy at the same time...although that might have been cuz she had a smoking body

I think that's the one thing that's rare(er? more rare?) than violet eyes.

wow i never knew that i had blue-green eyes, so does my mom and sister...i always assumed they were just green with yellow streaks in the center....you learn something new everyday

I dont think blue green eyes are that rare. My wife has blue eyes with green around the pupil and she considers her eyes green. I think a lot of people that have blue green eyes just consider their eyes green.
