Who has Earthlink DSL and what do you think of them?

Thinking about going w/Earthlink DSL (very few DSL ISPs where I am) and want you're opinions. I'm with Everyone's Internet (dial up) right now and I'm happy with the service, but download speeds s*ck the big one.

Earthlink's doing DSL $50/mo. Free modem, no setup fee. NIC cards are dirt cheap now too. Opinions please.
 
i know some people who use earthlink and it's ok
the price is good for the speed (compared to other dsl isp's generally)
they use pppoe so you probably want to get a better pppoe client than what they give you

installation can sometimes take a very very long time and support isn't great
