i'm off monday, the law firm i work at is taking it off since all the courts and stuff aren't in session

the company i work for isn't taking it off... i emailed my boss and said the place i work at is taking it off, and what should i do. He said "what do you want to do" and i said "take the day off with pay" and he said "ok, sounds good to me, consider it a subjective bonus"

I have it off but volunteered to work a half shift if they need me.

If I don't work: Day off and 8hrs holiday pay

If I do work: 4hrs work = 8hrs holiday pay plus 4hrs double time
