I have a 2002 black WRX wagon, 227HP 2.0L turbo, with a modded turbo so it kicks in at 2200rpm instead of 3000rpm. I also added a stabilizer bar to the front for better handling. I can get 0-60 in just a hair under 6 seconds, and the factory sound system rocks! Great car...I highly recommend it.

Cars are cool and I love V8 power and acceleration and since the TA is about the best bang for the buck you can get, Im down.

I have had: first car at 17, a fully restored (every bolt, seal, piece of plastic, etc) 1966 Mustang GT with every option (inc. automatic ). It was built though and was known throughout my whole school/neighborhood.....it got totalled by some grandma who flaked out at the wheel. Next car with a buy out from my dad was a 1988 Mustang GT bought from a service manager for Lincoln Mercury and outfitted with all the ford and mac parts possible....t-tops too....light grey and red interior, nice. then some POS due to school and buying a house...then a stock 1992 acura gsr, and then a 1997 (in late 1996) VW GTI VR6, immediately sent to a VW racer for the 'something something'.....it was fast, v-8's cried I had a turbo or NOS....fastest was with a VW corrado and BMW M3 to about 150mph (in the rain).....

Now a 1996 Saturn SC2....dont laugh I like the car a lot even though I bought it to get me to school and back only when I reupped for a comp sci degree and sold my VW ...space frame, only 2500 lbs, nice options....just wish for RWD...See It Here..... This year I am doing a turbo install, transmission with quaiffe, etc....then next year paint and full leather interior as soon as I find out what seats I like. 350hp and 2500lbs do the math. I can afford a new car, I just dont see the point, esp when it's rare I see 'myself' driving by.

Well its not FAST but I bought a 2000 Solara, its about 200hp stock. Once I get some money saved up Im gonna get the TRD Stage 3 body kit. The TRD supercharger they make for Solara's is pretty sweet, it would bump it to about 270hp, but I just can't justify that particular purchase.

I'm used to driving big old Chevy trucks, so the Solara seems pretty zippy to me. It sure passes like a demon.

Nice, you'll get more for your buck by going with a SC. The Nismo one increased the HP of the 350Z by 40% so roughly 407hp at the crank. Do you know why the HP and TQ levels are a little lower on the G35c than the 350z?



I have a 02 SE-R Spec-V. I just put the Billet Aluminum grille on it today, looks schweet. My CAI is in the mail right now. should be here today or maybe monday. Next will be header, under drive pulley, and full cat back exhaust. I'm gonna make all the n.a. mods i can before i go forced induction. I figure with the C/H/E under drive pully set,pull the radiator fan and go with electric, i'll get about 200HP+ at the crank with about 208TQ. Not bad for a 4 banger that weighs nothing.

Yeah, I'm very impressed with the 350z's SC. I have heard the slight diff in power between the G35 and the Z are just on paper - the margins of variation on a dyno are greater than the advertised difference between them, so Nissan probably just advertised the Z as being a 7hp higher so that people who buy it hoping they're getting a true sports car it won't feel upstaged by a lux coupe.

C&D recently tested a G35C as being faster (5.5 0-60) than the Z they tested, so that sort of backs the theory that there is no power difference except on paper.
