We have sort of an informal plan, and its only useful if our one or two fallback positions is not also unavailable. If they are overrun with ragheads, tornado's, or water, we are still screwed.
I did make a car emergency kit and home emergency kit a while ago. Need to make one for my mother now that she is driving to work in the cold. Her RAV4 had a little cubby hole underneath the floorboard of the cargo space.

Not really, other then some basic offsite file backups. I could somewhat live with loosing everything, but my data, no.

As for food and stuff like that, I usually try to always buy sooner then later when something is about to run out. So if for some reason I could not go buy anything, then I'd probably be good for at least a week. I can't really think of anything that would stop me from being able to go buy stuff other then some super large scale ATM/bank circuit outage that extends over a long period of time. I've only seen those go for a couple hours at a time.

We don't get hurricanes and stuff like that here. The only potential disaster we could get is a blizzard but even then it's usually business as usual. If hydro goes out people are fixing it there and then and it's back up within hours. I would hate to be a lineman in that kind of weather though.

You won't be able to go buy food. It will be all gone and no means to get enough in. All it takes is weather for this to happen.
