I had a bunch of them! I bought a new one every two years though middle and high school, and I still have the "Trapper XL" that I used in college. I'm 25, by the way.

I had a Trapper Keeper v1.0 in Elementary School and the XL model in Jr. Jigh.



I think the v1 was just plain blue, and the XL had a car on it...or a motorcycle. I thought the sliding plastic 3 ring part was "radical"

Fads: Junior High was the OP, Pacific Highway stuff. Fur Shure. Gag me with a spoon!, Leather Jackets with a zillion zippers. I never got any of that stuff. It was Sears Specials for me....grrrr. I remember my first Reeboks. I was in High School Flea Market Adidas 0wns j00

High School fads were the Africa pendant thingy. The colors. Red, Yellow Green. Beepers.

I had one in grade school, I believe it had some blue car on the front. Then our school banned them because they took up too much room in our desks.

Then we couldn't use pens, I can't remember the stupid reason for that, then they decided we couldn't use spiral notebooks either because the teachers didn't like them. Stupid dutch town. I'll be 19 soon.

I had one with a lamborghini and I think a couple others throughout school. They don't allow those in most elementary schools anymore. I think the teachers hate the clicking noise.
