Who got the 4 USB Ports on the GTXP running?

ndee

Hi there,
do I have to install something special? Cuz when I plug a device in, it connects, disconnects, connects, disconnects all the time under Windows XP. But when I connect the device directly to the motherboard via USB, it works without a hitch...Is there a driver I have to install? I thought not......

thanx for any help.

PS: Specs in my sig...

dont think you need a seperate driver for usb with the GTXP, Im running win xp and GTXP with my printer hooked through the GTXP and it always works perfectly. Why dont you try the hercules forum see if anyone else is experiancing this same problem? If so post back and tell me about it !

Forums are down cuz they changed something with the technical support 🙁

OK, weird thing, I unplugged the mouse, and plugged it into the GTXP Ports, and it worked. Maybe the Sandisk Card reader is kinda crappy? But when I connect it direct to the USB Port, it works.... weird stuff....

I know some things have issues via a USB hub. I noticed this with the Canon Powershot G2.

From the Powershot manual.

"Connect the camera directly to a USB port on the computer, not through a hub. The connection may not operate correclty through a hub."
