Who gets your stuff?

I plan on wording things so no one gets anything. Everything gets liquidated and distributed to a couple of charities with caveats that none of it goes to administrative or overhead costs.

But no individual person gets a dime.

House gets demolished and hauled off. Once cleared, the property can be sold.

Good luck finding any charities without administrative or overhead costs. And wouldn't the property be worth more with the house?

The no administrative costs thing won't work out. At best, they shift funds so that another source pays for the overhead--the same percent goes to overhead as if you didn't donate at all. At worst, they just ignore your wishes as no one will be alive who cares.

As for me, my stuff goes to my wife. If she isn't around, everything gets sold at auction and the proceeds gets split between charities and my nieces/nephews. If for some odd reason a family member wants one of my things, they can just buy it at the auction.

My good friend Matt will get all of my hi-fi audio gear. My riding buddy will get my bikes. My brother-in-law every fine piece of Japanese cutlery I have.
Things that I know they would love the most.

The rest my family can divvy up. Including the condo.

I set it up so it goes to my parents, sister, and nephews. Something along those lines I don't recall how I split it up and of course things change depending on if my parents are still around or not. I might need to update my will to ensure my off grid land goes to family as well or maybe that's automatically included. I'd have to call the lawyer office and ask about that. They're also the ones that processed the land purchase so they should have all the pertinent info anyway.

My spouse does because I'm happily married. If spouse died, my family would get it because I love my family.

My wife's family is about gone. If one of my nieces steps up and cares for us, they can have the house.
The other assets are going to NPR and Planned Parenthood.

Lol, when you're dead, you have no enforcement power nor laws that apply; it's not like you can sue for conversion or breach of contract as a cadaver. There is no such thing as justice for a dead one.

Telling a charity to not use them for administrative costs and thinking they'll act on good faith?
You might come off as a curmudgeon, OP, but you're STILL a naive goody two-shoes.

You also better demolish the house before you die, because no one is going to spend that money afterwards. So contractors and a government agency will get a nice chunk of your dough.

If you're going to give money to charity you need to lookup ahead of time what their admin costs are, and go by that. Ex: don't donate to a charity where half the money is admin costs.

Another option is to donate the money to me, and I will responsibly redistribute it into the economy. ;)

But wouldn't that mean 100% of the proceeds go to the administrative costs? That is the exact opposite of what he requested. He wants the person doing the distribution to work for free, get nothing, and I guess have to live off of government handouts since redistributions would now be your line of work.

Same, but we need to update our will. It'll get pretty thin with six siblings between us (though my older siblings could well die first).

Setting up a trust that'll grow itself more than my kids can pillage it. Also having stipulations, if you get reported to have done X or Y you're out until you rectify said lacking actions.
