All I can say is stay away from Tijuana, I just went through a shake down there. The nice police actually drove me to an ATM so I could withdraw funds to pay the nice friendly police officers on the spot.

lol. Pay them for...what exactly were you up to, anyway? :D Or were they just going to make something up if they didn't get any money?

I have the money and the time, but unfortunately none of my friends, nor my girlfriend does. So I either learn to like to travel by myself, or just hoard all my money and time.

I'd love to travel more. I wish I had more $$, time, and a good traveling buddy. There are so many places I want to see. I want to see each one at a time so I can really experience them.

Europe - Italy, Ireland, England, Scotland, Germany, Spain, Greece to start
Tahiti
New Zeland
Alaska - the pics I've seen are awesome! I'd love to experience the beauty myself.
South America - The Amazon and the Galapagos Islands
Hawaii
Russia (although I am a little scared to do this without a good guide)
Cozumel
Carribean - I'd be willing to do a cruise to see different islands
Egypt

I'd love to have more time for hiking. I tried to do it this summer but I got too busy at work to take all of the time off I wanted. I'm gearing up to do it next summer. I may even go in to the southwest in early spring for a week.

I tried to organize a small ATOT hike this summer but nobody was really interested. Maybe next year.

If you can borrow gear, hiking can be a very inexpensive trip. It's also tons of fun.

not really a fan of the europe scene
Bangkok was a lot like Tijuana (except for the cop/shakedown thing). It was just too intense and in my face, so I hopped a plane to Phuket and was MUCH happier.

Japan was awesome, awesome, awesome. Taiwan is comfortable.

I wanna go to Cambodia and just walk around for a couple of weeks. I think it'd be awesome. Maybe in a few weeks. We'll see.
