I've loved Linkin Park from the start, but it still amazes me that they appeal to the masses. You have the SLipknoters like me, and the mentally ill who listen to Nsync, we can actually agree upon something!

<< Linkin Park sucks. They took what Limp Bizkit brought to the mainstream (rap-rock) and made a whole bunch of songs that sound the same. >>

Actually, the first group, I believe, to do this was Aerosmith and RunDMC. The ones who actually made it into the mainstream with an all rap-rock style was probably Rage Against the Machine. They were doing it in the mainstream long before Limp Bizkit broke out into the scene.

Linkin Park absolutely owns. ive been following them since their early days, and they have been great to the fans. i love how the music/lyrics integrate so perfectly...damn i cant wait for their concert with adema in long beach!

You know, its too bad everyone likes them now, cause theyll probably just sell out like a lot of my favorite bands.

I remember a little over a year ago, when they were an opening band for POD, the tickets cost 15 bucks, and I got to mosh my brains out 2 feet from them. I chatted with all of them for a while. They just came out and chilled with all the people waiting on line. Pretty cool guys, although the lead singer came off as kind of a prick.

Now tickets cost $40 for facking bleacher seats at an arena. Not that I dont think they deserve their success, but I absolutely REFUSE to go to a rock concert with seats of any kind.

Back then everyone gave them credit for being one of the best new bands. They were #1 on the rock stations here for pretty much forever. But as soon as they gain success, theyre a pop band? Its the same album that everyone praised before! Talk about sheep.

I dont know why everyone likes them. It seems like they broke out into the masses with crawling, and I couldnt stand that song.

Well, heres hoping the next album isnt going to be totally fvcked up like a lot of other bands that got wack as soon as they became popular. Not that I refuse to listen to a commercial band, but once they start writing songs about money, bitches and britney spears, I'm selling my signed cd.

going to their long beach concert in a few hours...and i agree, a rock concert is not a concert if there are seats. luckily i have floor tickets 😀
