Who else thinks BMW make the sharpest-looking cars?

I don't think they are the sharpest looking cars on the road, but they do look good. I like the new 3 and 7 redesigns... but I am still a Lexus man ( except I hate the RX300 design :disgust: )

BMWs blow there designs are too retro. The Z4 and the new 7 are very nice though.

Bimmers are meant for the nouveau riche anyway so it doesn't matter.

Let me tell you that the Z4 is one of the baddest cars. It handles like a mother as well. The 7 series is an absolutely awesome car, as the looks do not indicate. BMW's are awesome. Talk to anyone who has driven one for an extended amount of time and they will tell you the same. I heard a quote that has been true everytime I have tested it: "Ask a BMW driver if they will ever drive another vehicle, and the answer will always be no"

Not really. I believe Lexus and Infiniti drivers are more loyal to their brands.

S Class > 7 Series
E Class > 5 Series
CLK > 6 Series
C Class < 3 Series

I would say, right now, Audi has the best looking cars. They are simply gorgeous. I think BMW in general has more cutting-edge technology in their cars, which might or might not be better.

Infiniti/Nissan is doing pretty good too. G35 coupe, Z, Murano, FX45 *droll*

While the BMW is still a drivers car with few peers the M-B line seems to have it in the looks department for now.

I'm im complete agreement. I've grown up driving japanese cars (toyota, lexus, honda, subaru). I borrowed a benz for about 2 weeks.
My 7 feels like its crafted from a single piece of metal compared to the others. The benz feelz very solid too, but it feels like a tank!. My 7 weighs comparably and still drives like a bmw. I have yet to see a car that can match the interior of my 7. When on the freeway, the toyota honda and subaru have a lot of road noise. The lexus is a lot better. The benz had comparable road noise to my 7, but they all feel so underpowered compared to it. Going from 60-90 is an easy task.
To those of you who dont like the look of the new bmw's, I ask if you've driven one.

Yep. Every luxury imaginable to make it a perfect driver's car. Too many people look at raw numbers. Everyone who's driven mine has been a convert.

I think the current BMW's look really good. Much better than many of the plastic pieces of crap out there these days. Okay, BMW's may have plastic too but it looks GOOD. Too many cars look like crap today.

2002 X5 4.6is

I can't believe people think the new 7 is ugly... looks SO killer... BMW is FAR nicer than Mercedes for styling and all.. Benz = kiss my arse! 😀

have you driven an audi?
I have not. From what I hear, they have very nice interiors, good power, but dont handle as well as bmw's. Quattro sure would be nice for the rain though.
I've always thought very highly of the A8/S8. I'd still rather have a e38, its a car that leaves nothing to be desired.
I suppose I'll test drive them both when i can afford one.

the current 3 series is the pinnacle of automotive design, as far as i'm concerned.

I agree completely. They ruined the 7 series imho.

I think German cars in general are overpriced and over rated.
