Who else loved The Neverending Story as a kid?

I hear the books are supposed to be MUCH better than the movies. Maybe I'll pick them up for some light reading.

I loved this movie as a child too, but i am scared to watch it for fear I will realize how crappy it is. ... I'm not saying it is, I'm just saying from previous experience, watching movies i loved when i was little, as an adult, doesn't always work out.

Me and a friend took LSD 100 and went to the theatre for this one (I was 15 or so), OMG was it awesome, it was never quite as good after that. (LSD is dangerous and will mess you up bad, do not take it)

Just saw it the other day and I laughed so hard at the bad acting 🙂 but whoa, I loved it as a kid 🙂
