Strange, it's 11:22pm here.

I live in the 4th dimension.

Cool. Go back to 2001 and tell me to buy a house then. :p

And back to a few months ago and tell you to sell your stock. :p

Polishing off my porterhouse..already finished my salad..now what?

Hey, I seared 2 steaks earlier tonight. Shitty cuts though. have no idea what they were, some Safeway-contrived cut that doesn't exist anywhere else. You know...13 bucks for 5 pounds of steak sorta thing... :D

haha, yeah. I had a pretty good specimen..overcooked one side a bit, though. :(

Pan sear, oven style, man. always cooked to perfection, easy to time, glorious meat (even these cock-hole steaks I bought tasted pretty decent with a little oil and kosher salt)

I'll never grill another steak....

I'll have to try that sometime..

alton brown

two episodes are there. check em out...

I love how everyone on AT has magically become a self-proclaimed "foodie" in the last year.

5:36 am here. Skipping a nights sleep to reset my sleep pattern, though if I fall asleep now it'll make things worse.

Yayy for energy drinks, I think I may have a heart attack in the next few hours.

I remember doing that years and years ago when I worked the graveyard shift. Four days on three days off and the last day off I had to pretty much stay awake or I wouldn't be able to make it through the week.

I work a 4/3 as well...I try to take a nap when I get home on my first day off, but I ended up sleeping 'till evening instead.

I work 3 nights a week also. 12 hour shifts... ANd I try to do the whole "take a little nap" on the first day off thing, but it never works.

I hate that I cant sleep a normal schedule on my 4 days off... But apart from staying up the whole day on your first day off, I dont think you can get around it.

Yeah..I'm not too good at pulling the 36hr day thing, so my 3 days off kinda turns into 2. Ahwell.

Right now, working 12 AM to 8 AM.
22 staright days at work. 17 of those days were 12 hour shifts. Looks like I may get some time off this weekend, so it'll be 26 straight days at work.

See my post above... I left at 5:35 and I'm back for another 12 hour shift. I feel your pain, but the overtime is really nice.
