I've been working after college for 4 1/2 years and decided to go back to school this fall for my MBA. I'm only taking 6 hours, but I feel all giddy like I use to when finals were wrapping up when I was in undergrad.

I took one of my finals on Monday and taking my other tonight. After that I have 4 weeks off until next semester. Coincidently this is the slowest time of the year at my job so it's making this even better.

I think me and the wife are going out to celebrate tonight afterwards.
 
I'm giving finals, does that count?

Got one of the best emails ever from a student today. He can't take the final because he has another one three hours before mine. So, could I just give him the extra points he needs for the next letter grade.
 
Of the 4 classes I have right now, 3 of the finals are open book/ open note. Plus they have no time limit. I am taking them from the comfort of my own home. 1 down, 2 to go.

Wow... I had 3 back to back finals one day with only like half an hour apart between them.
 
I'm pretty confident... I'm going in with the one tonight with a 99 average. I'm just hoping I do well enough not to mess that up.

I'm pretty sure my school does not require anyone to take more than one final per day. Any profs who cross schedule a student have to make accommodations. The extra points is highly creative IMO. 🙂

My final is optional - no need to take it if you're happy with your current average.
 
In high school, I loved finals because the days were shorter. In College, finals sucked because you are not supposed to skip them. I mostly just hated class, and whatever meant less time in a classroom was better for me.
 
I like finals too. You get to prepare for a few tests at a time and that's it. Its not hectic like the rest of the semester where you have 2 exams, 4 homeworks, a paper, and classes to go to.
 
I have a takehome that I'm doing right now. I have a project due tomorrow. I have another takehome paper that's due Tuesday. Thursday (next thursday) I have two finals. Can't WAIT for this shit to be over.

I just finished my final for undergrad Linear Algebra.

I think I'll have an A in the class, but no way would I want to delve any deeper into the theories behind it all.

Now I'm off to my last final, PC Architecture.

I've read most of Anandtech's articles for about the last 10 years, so I already knew most of that going into the class. 😀
