I like Will Smith and I think this is a movie I will be seeing. I won't bother with Spiderman 2 because I wasn't interested in the first one. For that matter I'm never interested in any comic book to movie flicks such as Batman or X-Men or the Incredible Hulk. They all suck!

To all of you who are familiar with Asimov and/or the original Outer Limits episode and who are looking forward to the movie: I am officially confiscating your Sci-Fi Enthusiast card, and issuing you these Mindless Consumer Whore cards. Do enjoy.

Will Smith in this role is going to blow. If he once becomes the "fresh prince" in the movie, like he does in most movies, I am going to walk out. I think Gary Sinease or a young Harrison Ford would be much better in the role.

Its actually a mix of one of short stories in I, Robot (the one about the robot with the relaxed 1st law and Susan Calvin has to figure out which one it is) and the premise of the Caves of Steel. This could be a good storyline, but like I said, they are going to blow it. I would have gotten the writer/director of Blade Runner to do it.

Based on the previews I saw in the theatre lobby, I'm worried that this will be another case where they spend $$$$$ for special effects as the plot starves in the background. This has the potential to be a spectacular film but I'm prepared to be disappointed.

The previews remind me greatly of Minority Report - at least in style.

I'll see this movie, although I have average-movie expectations for it.
