gogo Holiday pay!

I agreed to work because I didn't have plans and can always use the cash, but one of my friends called me this morning to invite me to a bbq that I had to decline wish I'd have known about it ahead of time, I didn't have to work today and it would have given me an excuse to bake a pie.

I was... we don't get paid holidays. I was working at the client's offices but they were closed so it was really quiet around there. I said "fuck it" and came back to the motel at lunch and am working here. No one else from my company nor the client's company is online anyway.

As much as I'd like to relax and game it up, there's way too much stuff to do. I'll work for a few more hours and call it a day though.

yeah...couldnt turn down the holiday pay- volunteered to work- getting 8 hrs paid holiday + 1.5x pay for the 8 hours I'm working today...I always volunteer as soon as possible so I can't talk myself out of it cause I would have....oh well, been pretty slow so far
