You know, the more I read this forum, the more ingrained in my mind is the idea that your value as a person is determined by your net worth. Maybe I'm spending too much time on here.

The second you joined this forum you had already spent too much time here. This place is the leading cause of brain rot. Want a :cookie:? We make them with neuron fungus.

Seriously, is it a problem that I get really worked up in real life about stuff I read on here? Sometimes I wonder...

Run.

I don't own a BMW but I'm still in college. I'll be happy when I can finally afford a Mazdaspeed 3.

yea i'm in your situation, but (no offense) you really don't know much about mazdas 😛. mazdaspeed 6 (in addition to the regular mazda 6) has a turbo and 6 speeds for its manual...so mazdaspeed 3 would have a 3 speed manual? lol i got bored with a 4 speed corvette cause i rarely had to change gears, imagine 3....ok ok i'll stop, this isn't a car thread

anywho, maybe shawn and i aren't average joes...is the average joe going to college these days?

You forgot the declining Joe's.

You know, the guy who used to weigh 180lbs, who had a 13", who had a 8000 sqft house, a lake house, a mercedes, a bmw, etc....then bambie came along, and poof, it was all gone. 😉

I believe I fit in to the Average joe catagory....

I earn AU$35000, own my own 3 bedroom home in a small country town and I drive a 1984 Ford Fairlane....nothing special here.

I don't think they allow those on the road, here in California. 🙂

Yup, that's why I say you gain inches on your "size" for every 20k you make (possibly a bit higher depending on what area you live in)..

I'd say I'm average for my area.
