I love AC, and hate the heat. Though sometimes it's nice when it's hot and not too sunny to hang out in the back yard with a cooler full of beer, some lawn chairs, some food, and some buddies, and the grill.

but i don't like it. but i don't like being outside at all, hot or cold. and when it is nice temp. wise outside, that is bug season usually, so there are just a crapload of reasons not to go outside as far as i am concerned

Agreed. I stepped out the house for a minute and a half last night to call the cat, ended up with a fifty-cent sized welt on the inside of my foot from a mosquito bite. And swimming thru 50% humidity is no picnic either.

i used to hate summer and loved the winter, but now, i welcome warm weather. In michgan, though, its hit or miss with nice summer weather. Last year we had a cold summer, this year, it snowed in may and now its 90+ everyday.
I cannot wait for our pool to be open though

Yep. Except it is more like...when winter comes, I wish for spring..when summer comes I wish for fall.

I love summer and everything about it. I could do without the intense humidity but I live with it and dread winter each season. I'd rather be hot and sticky than cold and miserable. In the summer everything is green and full of life while winter is barren and despressing. :(

Pros:
Women wear bikinis around more often! or less clothing!

Cons:
Summer gas costs are higher.
Humidity.
Hurricane season in certain areas.
If you are too cold you can wear more clothes, if you are too hot there is only so much clothing you can take off.
Your computer hates the heat.

I'd say it's close to a tie :beer::D:thumbsup:

The wonderful thing is that summer last about 6 months here (Austin, TX). It doesn't even start to get remotely cool until mid-late November!!!!!

Every year that goes by, the more I hate the summer. I don't know how much longer I can take it......

Would you rather live in upstate, NY where it snows half the year? Quite your crying and move to the middle eastern states (NC, SC, GA, VA).

The only good thing about summer is the half naked women. Thats it. It still beats full blown winter, but only by a little bit...because driving in the summer is fairly easy compared with the winter. If I'm not getting eaten by bugs I'm getting sun burned or sweating until I smell.

Fall, and then spring...are by far the best seasons. Fall totally rocks. The bugs are gone and its nice and cool...perfect for doing stuff outside.

I love this heat. It's actually been around 90 up here the past few days and yes, it sucks when I get out of work wearing pants and two shirts, but it feels so nice when I'm just wearing shorts.

I hate heat. What sucks for me, is I work in a -25 to -40 degree freezer. When I leave work, it's like OMGDYINGFROMHEAT, even if it's 70 degrees out.

Aye, hate the heat, hate the cold. I therefore hate the weather here, which alternates between very cold and very hot.

I want to move to Vancouver. :\

Wow it went down 1 degree in the past hour.:)

Currently in Albany
87F (Feels like 93F)
Clear
Wind: S12 gusting to 21 mph
Barometer: 29.98

Here's News 10 Meteorologist Andy Gregorio's Stormtracker Forecast:

The past 2 days Albany has reached 90 degrees or hotter. Today we'll be near 90 once again. To have an official heat wave you need 3 consecutive days of 90 degrees or higher. If we hit 90 today then we'll have our first heat wave of the year.

Scattered storms are likely once again this afternoon through midnight just about anywhere, though the Adirondacks and perhaps southern and western Catskills are have a slightly better chance for such. Storms today will be very slow movers capable of causing very heavy rain in a short time period. Because of this potential: A Flash Flood Watch is now posted for Herkimer, Hamilton, Warren and Washington Counties in NY State and for the ENTIRE STATE of VT.

TODAY: Clouds and Sun, continued hot and humid, chance of an afternoon thunderstorm. Storms will be accompanied by very heavy rains and possible strong winds. Highs 85-90.
