I DO! I f*cking HATE the oppressive heat, the feeling that my skin is burning off, the feeling of crawling into an oven when you get into the car, the feeling that you may die of heat stroke just from walking 10 feet outside. The wonderful thing is that summer last about 6 months here (Austin, TX). It doesn't even start to get remotely cool until mid-late November!!!!!

Every year that goes by, the more I hate the summer. I don't know how much longer I can take it......

You sir are a whimp. I live in Pheonix Arizona, and went long boarding with a friend of mine a couple years ago when we hit 120+ degrees. I got home and the thermometer in the shade said 110.

edit : Longboards being really big skate boards, we went to a local park and rode them down 300ft + hills.

i have gotten used to it to some extent after living in GA/MO for 6.5 years

but i don't like it. but i don't like being outside at all, hot or cold. and when it is nice temp. wise outside, that is bug season usually, so there are just a crapload of reasons not to go outside as far as i am concerned

Let's see:

The time of the year where hot women show off their tans in skimpy bikini's, wear skimpy clothes to work, when beach vacations are taken.....yeah, it really sucks

I despise humidity but I don't hate summer. I just limit my time in non-AC'd places unless it's the beach. I do have to shower 2-3 times a day in the summer because I despise stickiness.

It's easier to get warmed up when it's cold, than to cool off when it's hot. to summer.

I like it for about three days and then I wish for winter. And then when winter starts I like it for about three days and wish for summer

I hate summer but thats only because I have been living in NYC my entire life..so summers here can be ultra muggy. It doesn't help much that there is of course pollution in the city so garbage and especially subway stations smell beyond bad.

I've been to Puerto Rico, Burmuda for vacations and I had no problem with the heat in those places.

Humidity is the real killer... 90 degrees with no humidity is tolerable.. 90 degrees with 100% humidity in the city is death.
