so i work while my boss sits and do nothing.

Markets are closed, yet we are open which doesn't add up a lot to me.

Either way, I'm taking a vacation day or perhaps it will be considered one of my "floating holidays" for tomorrow.

Up here in Canada, Good Friday is a holiday. Some people (public servants) get monday off too.

nope. but i get next friday off as "cesar chavez day" here in California. woohoo for being a state employee!

They took our Good Friday half-day and added it to our Christmas Eve half-day so now we have all of Christmas Eve off and have to work good Friday.
Kind of throws a wrench into my families yearly traditions, so I'm kinda POed, but come Dec 24th I'm sure I'll be thankful.

apparently the UK as well. my wife was telling me the UK offices have monday off as well.

I have tomorrow off..


...but I always have Friday off. (well, unless there's some dire emergency that requires my presence, but I try to keep those to a minimum)
