Who else has been switched to Cox's own network?

I have been since 2 thursday's ago. It hasn't been smooth for me, but at least my pings have stabilized more then they have been. Though i am finding that their dns servers don't stay up very well. Your experiences?

I successfully converted last week, but then Sunday I lost my connection. I figured it was a problem on their end, but when I couldn't connect on Tuesday, I started to worry. I fooled around with the network settings, and after clicking Repair, i restored my connection. However, now my connection is lost periodically, and I have to reboot my computer to get it back. Is that the IP renewing? Any idea how to fix my problem?

I have been horribly afraid to switch, I am hanging on to @home as long as I can. I really think that the whole conversion process will set back my home networking efforts about a year.

things have been better lately. though others are still having issues. DNS servers go down sometimes.

thats the DNS server dropping your connection, 20 bucks says you can connect to a server via IP, same happened to alot of people in Oregon and washington when ATT switched. the solution I have found and works really well is to use another DNS server. I personally use Xmission's DNS servers. 198.60.22.2 198.60.22.22
