I really don't have a reason to put a tree up, so never.
I do believe that if I tried though, I'd probably have one very kickass tree. lololol

I once did put up a few lights on my window. They were some sick blue & white ones that faded in and out. Cost like 20 dollars.

Put up on or day after Thanksgiving and take down around the 1st of the year (or first weekend if it falls around there).

I never put up any Christmas decorations. No point. I live alone, putting things up just to take them down in a few weeks is just depressing.

I always put up Christmas decorations. I live alone. I don't want to take them down just a few weeks later... so I put it up early and take it down late.

Tree went up November 13, IIRC. Won't come down until the middle of January, at the earliest.

The earliest we do it is Dec 1st. And this time around it looks like the weekend after Dec 1st.

We share our food with Indians (feather, not dot) every day. I'm 1/4 Sioux, 1/8 Cheyenne...

Ok, well you got me there, i meant as a tradition, you don't commonly ask the local tribesmen into your home for thanksgiving meals...

You know what the fuck i meant anyway...

First of advent is when you put up the stars and candles in your windows, outside light is also good to put up on this day, that was last sunday, the tree inside of your house and all that comes with it along with bells and shit goes up on the 23'd or the fourth of advent.

My Christmas tree is living, so I've had it "put up" since I bought it two years ago.

This year I strung two strings of solar Christmas lights(blue and warm white) on the tree, and some solar icicle lights(cool white) on the patio wall at the beginning of November, but didn't turn them on until the day after Thanksgiving.

&

I think I need another string of lights for the tree. I have another string of icicle lights for the other side of the porch, but haven't put them up yet.

Solar Christmas lights are the best invention ever... at least, as long as you have sun in December... lol.
