i just cant stand most dogs, i hate when a dog jumps on my legs, or constantly barks at every moving thing, gets in the trash, tears up anything it can find, craps in the house EVEN IF YOU LET IT OUT, i just hate that crap.

we've had a few dogs i liked, we had a miniature snousher (sp?) once and it was a good dog, didnt jump on things, didn't tear stuff up, was house trained easily, and just chilled on the couch except for when someone came over, which was nice.. it would bark just a little to let me know someone was there and would go do the door to see who it was, and wouldnt start freaking out bouncing all over the place... how come these types of dogs are so hard to find? we have two weenie dogs right now, dachsuns i think is the breed, and oh my god im so close to killing them, they are so territorial, and pretty much do everything i hate about dogs... i wish we would have never got them....

cats are just SO MUCH better pets (for me) than dogs, i've never had a cat that annoyed me, they just mind there own business, never use the bathroom in the house, it's like they just understand how to get along with people, they stay out of your way..

the neighbors behind us at our old house had like 6 of these and any time we were out on our back deck she'd let them out and they'd all start yapping away in unison. They also woke up my (at the time) 2yo daughter from her nap quite a few times, enough for me to contemplate poisoning their dogs somehow. After my mind quit raging i reminded myself it isn't the dog's fault but their owners.

Obviously, the problem here is not the dog...it's the owner.

maybe so, i just dont have patience for loud, obnoxious dogs.... and i dont know how to give them the attention they i guess need, i did like the dog we had that was calm, and laid back, i just haven't been able to find a dog like that since...

so did you poison the owners?

so what is the proper way to handle a dog like that? do you take it out in the yard and jump around with it flayling your arms wildly and making barking sound at it? chase it around? what about it tearing shit in the house up? do you just "dog proof" your house? i just dont understand how anyone could enjoy a dog like that..

we had this chihuahua mixed dog (its head/upper body looked like a chihauhau, but it was bigger and longer haired) and for the love of god it would NOT STOP tearing stuff up, and chewing everything up.. we bought it chew toys, and it would STILL get the kids toys, the babys pacifiers, remotes, anything it could get and chew it to pieces....and it was such a puss, it got wo where i was constantly yelling at it for doing something bad, so when it saw me it would tuck its tail and run and hide, it acted like it was abused, even though i never did, i would rub it's nose in it's crap or piss everytime it did it in the house, which was every single day, it never learned... i would take it outside to go to the bathroom, and it wouldnt, and then the second we came back in it would crap on the floor and then tuck it's tail and run and hide.... and another thing i hated, it would run from me when i tried to put it outisde, it just didnt like going outside, if i just opened the door and told it to go outside it would immediately run under something and hide, and then i would go to pick it up and put it outside and it would run from me and try to hide under other things, and then it would try to bite when i tried to catch it... god i hated that dog... and then once i finally did get it outside it would immediately start scratching on the door because it wanted back in, it would eventually start yelping and crying to come back in... jesus what an annoying dog.

My lawyer told me to end my post where I did...

It's the owners fault for those 'issues' A dog is very easily trained. My husky used to have some bad tendencies, but we trained her to not do them, and she stopped.

thats not a dog, thats your daughter.

More for your needlessly punk PFI stance than for your basic transgression here, you get the next week off.

 But what do you expect, it's ZJ.

Why don't you exercise/walk them? That will help tire them out. Plus, you could use the exercise.

gotta try to make something of his odd threads...thought he was banned, but guess that didn't take 😛.

And yes, dogs need attention, if they are like that...you aren't playing with them enough, or letting them get out enough.

weiner dogs are known to be a pain in the ass. You are screwed unless you can figure out how to train them properly. I recommend doing some research on the internet.

Being scent hounds, they can be difficult to house break. But with the proper motivational techniques and exercise, they can be trained just like any other dog.

I got lucky and rescued a 3 year old minidachshund. He was already housetrained(just needed to teach him to use the doggie door which took about twenty minutes) and was even litterbox trained. He also had perfect house manners. Pretty much zero training required by me.

yeah they are great if you train them properly. I'm assuming zane has no idea what he is doing, considering he said he likes cats more(bleh)
